In June 2009, the project was initiated. The Taifong Stadium commissioned Portuguese architects Álvaro Siza and Carlos Castanheira to plan and design the redevelopment of the clubhouse. The firm acted as the Local Architect to assist in the planning and design of the redevelopment, as well as the signing of permits and on-site supervision of the project. The project will be completed and licensed in October 2020, totaling 11 years and 4 months of participation.

Taifong Golf Club obtained the permit to establish in May 1983, while the old clubhouse building was completed in August 1985 and obtained the license to use the stadium. Due to the change of time, although the old clubhouse facilities had been remodeled and renovated, they were still insufficient for use, so the owner had the idea of reconstructing the building. Initially, the planning and design content (Program) commissioned by the stadium was to include a clubhouse (about 4,666m2), a wedding chapel (about 1,966m2), and a 20-unit small leisure Villa (about 1,200m2). The final product is two multi-functional clubhouses - Siza Clubhouse (approx. 3,800m2) and Chia Ching Clubhouse (approx. 9,990m2).
