This project was commissioned by the Taipei City Government to T. Y. Lin Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. for project management, with the basic design completed by Shu Chang Architects. The project team consists of Ancang Construction Co., Ltd., Studiobase Architects, Envision Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., Hsu-Kuan Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd., New Energy Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., Concept Lighting Design Co., Ltd., and Hua-Tin International Design Consultants Co., Ltd., with Ancang Construction Co., Ltd. serving as the general contractor.

This project plays a pivotal role in the elevated pedestrian bridge system, connecting the Nangang Station BOT Building, the Taipei Center for Popular Music, and the Nangang Tire World Pearl. Nangang Station serves as a transit hub integrating the High-Speed Rail, MRT, and Taiwan Railways, and its comprehensive transportation functions have established Nangang as a major transportation hub linking eastern and western Taiwan. The scope of the project can be divided into two main sections based on their characteristics and locations: (1) Multi-level Connecting Platform – Comprising a steel arch bridge and a large platform, the main bridge connects to the second-floor corridor of Nangang Tire World to the north and to the park’s large platform to the south. The auxiliary bridge extends eastward from the side of the main bridge to connect with the Nangang Station BOT Building. The large platform includes the platform structure, gender-neutral restrooms (including wastewater drainage facilities), and barrier-free elevator works. (2) Nangang Ecological Green Corridor – This scope covers the landscape engineering for the South Site and the Multi-level Connecting Platform. The scope of work includes paving and planting projects for the South Site park.
